In case you haven't noticed there've been some changes 'round 'neah

So yeah, the site looks different (better?) but I spent most of my time this weekend on my first ever "Feature" it's a replica of the Jumpin' Homepage of Jumpsuit Robbie, my old band from my old college days, when, paradoxically, I was young. It's pretty much done, 'cept I'm going to scan in a bunch more pictures and I've got to hook my computer up to a 4-track to get our full length on MP3. That'll take a while. So enjoy this now and never come back!

I got an email today telling me it's not too late to get into the Final Fantasy XI public beta. And I could try to sign up at various websites. Which I guess is a nice way of telling me that I did not get in when I signed up a couple months ago. As I was signing up for the beta at one of these sites I noticed a nice little tip off - "Testers will receive their kits at the begging of July" so if nothing else we now know when they intend to start actually testing. However we also know from other games that the beta process can take many many months and normally even when it's done the bugs aren't still worked out until 3 months after they go live.

Here we go again

So now Gamespot has decided to do a "best games list". However I think they learned from IGN's mistakes and decided to be somewhat wussier. You see the Gamespot list doesn't rank these games they just write about them and say that they're good. Also they opened the feature with 5 games but from here on out it's just one a week. Leaving them ample time to add in every game that the trolls on the message boards will be clamoring for. As for me? I'll probably only read the ones on games I've played before.

Also I just wanted to note that although my prediction on last night's fight was wrong (story here) I do feel that my powers of deduction are not to be questioned as Lewis was plainly exhausted after 6 rounds and Klitchko did seem to have the ability to land a good shot on him. If the fight wasn't stopped due to that nasty cut I think Klitchko might have been able to seal the deal, as we have it now Lewis will either run from Klitchko, or actually come to the rematch in condition and knock the doctor out.

Just wanted you all to know that yes, I did get my copy of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and through four chapters with it I am well pleased.

I also want to go on record as predicting Lenox Lewis will be knocked out tonight in the middle rounds tonight, say 5-8.

no te gusto de mí enojado

No me gusto del HULK

Touching at times, laughable at others - not in a good way. The Hulk ultimately fails to entertain me in the way that it intends. The visual style to make the movie feel more like a comic book is way over used though effective once. The acting is fine, save for a crazy rant from Nick Nolte. The effects looked good, but then again some of it I've seen before.

I won't bash The Hulk, they'll be no short supply of people doing that. I will say that I wouldn't recommend this film and that I'd be leary of a sequel.

He's thinking what we're all saying

When you get the chance you should check out today's Penny-Arcade strip. It's as if they listened to my thoughts, with a very long range and very precise psycrophone. I'm doing my best to evade this piece of critic-fodder, but I can't truthfully tell you that I absolutely won't buy it in the near future. *shrug* I guess I'm a weak man, but then again Square-Enix does need my support...

With the NBA Draft almost upon us and Lebronia sweeping the country I was trying to think of a good idea for his first Nike commercial. He got paid all that money, they do need to kick off his carrer off right. The only problem is my idea for Lebron was to rip off Penny Hardaway's commercial, you know, the one with the little puppet that looked just like him. It doesn't get any better than that. Remember when Blackstreet used it for their video? That was kick ass too. So heed my advice Nike, and hook us up with some "Little Lebron" action.

I just wanted to convey my joy at our new broadband internet connection. And in order to show my thanks for making wireless networking so easy I'm going to name my first child Linksys. Everyone should be able to check their email from bed, it's the bomb.
