The bout will be in Melbourne Australia at the Knox Netball Centre. Omotoso, ranked the number 1 Australian welterweight by boxrec, will be Augustus' first opponent in 2009 after taking a long layoff following his controversial loss a year ago on the undercard of Calzage-Jones.

Rumor has it that Emanuel Augustus will get a rematch with Courtney Burton on September 1st, on ESPN2, in Friday Night Fights' last telecast before going on college football induced hiatus.

Burton won their first bout via a very controversial decision (robbery).

Augustus vs Adrian Mora, May 17th

Emanuel Augustus returns to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT on Wednesday May 17th to take on undefeated Adrian Mora. At 15-0-1 though he seems poorly matched against the vastly more experienced Augustus.

Given the location and the strange day I can only assume that this will be a featured bout on ESPN's Wednesday Night Fights series. But I cannot confirm this yet.
