Take that, Jerkstore!
Quote of the day (I know that I don’t ever really do this but I found this too funny not to mention):
“Michael Moore Kicking Self For Not Filming Last 600 Trips To McDonald's” from The Onion. I’ve always disliked Michael Moore and pretty much anyone else who thinks running around in public with a camera ambushing the unsuspecting public and then editing it for their own gains is funny or art. Yeah Tom Green, Truth.com, I’m talking about you too.

Well, it IS a funny headline from The Onion but seriously, by all accounts, Super Size Me is a blatant ripoff of Moore's style.
Mark my words, Farenheit 9/11 will be the biggest doc ever.
And even you should be interested b/c it's very light on Moore's in-your-face-camera tricks and mugging.
Don't get me wrong, he's films aren't perfect but there are much worse folks out htere that derserve your wrath, like say... the prez!
Btw, I like the new Beastie CD. Very low tech. Also, big Bush bashers. heh heh.
Bruce is right, Moore's a spazz. Surprising people to make them look bad is bad enough, but he does a lot of sneakity editing stuff on top of that. In addition to documented cases of chicanery, look at the famous "Heston walks away" scene from the end of Bowling for Columbine. Doesn't it look fake? There are shots from two different angles. Moore went in there with two cameramen? Maybe, but it sure looks weird.
If Fahrenheit 9/11 contains less of that kind of stuff, that it might have some redeeming value.
