Fire Emblem

Portable tactical gameplay with an interesting plot. A bit too long and unfocused for me to complete though.

Final Fantasy Chrystal Cronicals

Square has made up with Nintendo and gave us a multiplayer slasher. I haven't given up on it yet but it's never really clicked for me.

Metal Gear Solid, The Twin Snakes

This Gamecube remake does the original justice but the whole package seems to lack just a bit of the magic of the original.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

A great RPG on the Xbox. Who'd have thunk it? It's also the best thing to happen to Star Wars in many, many years.

La Pucelle: Tactics

The follow up to Disgaea is really a prequel. And was too unevenly paced to keep its hold on me.

Final Fantasy V

La Pucelle having failed slake my RPG thirst, I decided to turn to an oldy in my collection that I had never played before. You can definitely tell that FFVI really built upon V.

City of Heroes

A really fun, lite online game. But they go to such ends to not force you to interact with other players that it also kind of creates a community void and leaves less to want to come back to.

Mega Man Collection

The original Mega Man is kicking my ass. It's great fun playing these old games. Plus they were well made to begin with so that transfers well, certain smoothness in the gameplay however does not, not sure if that's the original code's fault or the transfer guys. Also the Gamecube controller is configured the wrong way and there's no way to change it.

Drakengard

Flying on the dragon's fun but even that gets repetitive in this Dynasty Warriors type game.

Castlevania, Lament of Innocence

Static camera? Give me a break.

Crimson Sea 2

If it's as entertaining as the first I'll be happy enough, but there's always hope (and room) for improvement.

Tales of Symphonia

I quite enjoyed this familiar tale. The art style and gameplay were very fresh and fun. And tons of secrets and extras. A very well made RPG.

Star Ocean 3

You know what your problem is, Star Ocean 3? Besides the fact that you don't refer to yourself as "Star Ocean 3" but rather some subtitle? Your pacing is too damn slow. I got very old to sit through hours and hours of dungeon crawling with a badly run AI controlled party only to watch cut scenes that tended to run a bit long themselves. Seek ye balance if you're to try again.

Fable

The game that was supposed to knock our collective socks off was rushed to market and as a result you have a 15-20 hour epic RPG. Take GTA3 add Animal Crossing and Zelda's fighing system but not quite that good and you'll get Fable. Hmmmm, so it wasn't that innovative after all.

X-Men Legends

A beat em up with level ups and a decent story. XML sets its aims a lot lower than say a Fable and succeeds smashingly (literally).

Shadow Hearts: Covenant

I liked what I saw of it, but didn't get the time to finish. Also it makes me want to play the first SH game first. Definitely better than Star Ocean 3.

ESPN NBA 2K5

A slight improvement from the travesty that was 2K4. The added RTK-like features in the franchise mode are silly, yet entertaining.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

You've heard it all before, bigger than ever, huge, many many added features. But what makes SA a real winner (and perhaps game of the year at this point) is a likable cast of characters progressing through a very well thought-out, epic story, rife with references to the previous GTA games, enriching the series' lore.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Snake is back (altho, it might not be the Snake we know). Holla at ya boy.

World of Warcraft

So far so good. Although it could be a bit more stable.
